Dust poetry film - part 7
The seventh poetry film from my pamphlet Dust - The trouble with living is you dream of the dead
CW: Grief
One of the most distressing grief experiences are those moments when you wake, and briefly forget - the process of remembering means revisiting the horror of reality. In the first few days after my brother died, I remember fighting sleep so I wouldn’t have to revisit realisation.
As my grief journey continued I began to find vicious comfort in my dreams. The sense of presence was so strong. Dreams were both a comfort and a curse.
The three poems and the film are effective together x
Beautiful, poignant work, Kathryn.
